Max von Sydow stars as retired detective Ulisse Moretti. He is called back to help investigate a murder case that is similar to a case from his past. He suffers from insomina (a nod to the title Sleepless) and spends his time awake working over the case. Now Moretti must team with a young cop combine his old methods and the methods of the young cop to catch the killer.
